FOILED MORTALIS MACHINA PLAYING CARDS
We're back with foil and gild.
Step into a world where mortals meet machines. Mortalis Machina isn't just another deck of cards-it's a bold fusion of humanity and technology, brought to life in an exquisitely crafted deck you'll want to hold, open and close, and show off. Every detail has been refined with care, right down to the world's first fully functional mechanical gear tuck box made entirely of paper. Compact in size, but full of character, it defies expectations the moment you lay your eyes on it.
Designed by The Paper Gear Company
The all new Black gilded edition feature a shimmering metallic finish on our revolutionary paper-engineered gear tuck box. This isn't just a deck to add to your shelf but a deck that will stand out for sure.
Black Gilded Edition
Inspired by the eternal clash of man and machine, the design leans into steampunk elegance: Victorian flourishes, Baroque curves, Gothic motifs, and whispers of dark fantasy woven through every card. The black gilded deck comes with a foiled working gear box, perfect for showmanship.
The Courts & Jokers
Every court card and joker was carefully developed until they felt perfect.
Jacks (Death Messengers): Hellbound, Black Cat, Horse of the Apocalypse, Raven
Queens (Gods): Santa Muerte, Koli, Mengpo, Valkyrie/Hel
Kings (Reapers): Reaper, Anubis, Hades, Yama
Jokers: Angel & Demon
The jokers, in particular, carry a playful but thought-provoking message: one clutches a heart (love), the other treasures (wealth). Both remind us that what we chase for happiness can also bring sorrow.
The Foiled Metallic Gear Box
This is our proudest achievement-a marvel of paper engineering. Opening the gear tuck box is a kinetic experience: gears shift, elements move, and a little mechanical magic unfolds in your hands.Lightweight, durable, and eco-friendly, the box is the same size as a regular playing cards tuck box but engineered with astonishing precision.
