Predict ANYTHING on ANY Barcode or QR Code. A world of limitless possibilities onboth iOS and Android! David Jonathan & Kevin Aust proudly bring you the most comprehensive project ever in the QR / Barcode prediction plot!
DEQODE allows you to secretly "hack" ANY QR code or barcode in real time, giving you full control over what is revealed once it is scanned! It is jam packed with over a dozen routines and is the perfect 'every day carry' effect! Best of all, it is quick and easy to setup, effortless to learn and perform, it works on both
iOS & Android and it can even be done entirely on the spectator's phone!
In the featured routine, you display a barcode and ask your participant to guess what item that is from. They write down ANY ITEM they think of on the back of a business card (or in the Notes app) and show it around. It is a completely free choice with unlimited possibilities. You now scan the barcode and unbelievably it leads to a Google result for the precise item they thought of. If you prefer, you can even have the item revealed in the Amazon or Walmart apps! This miracle also works with QR codes, so you can expand the possibilities infinitely to any celebrity, movie, band, event... literally ANYTHING!
... But that is only the tip of the iceberg of what is capable with
DEQODE! In addition to the digital assets, you also receive custom-crafted props that fit right in your wallet and allow you to perform tons of specially designed routines combining QR/Barcodes and other apps including:
- Predicting a movie in the IMDB app
- Revealing an artist in the Spotify app
- Perfectly guessing a grocery item or even a three-course meal from a restaurant
- Divining a randomly thought-of color out of literally a million options... and so much more!
Card magicians will love that
DEQODE also features one of the most commercial, hands-off ACAAN effects you will ever see! Not only that, a specially printed Bicycle playing card is included that has a QR code camouflaged within its design that when scanned can reveal ANY freely named playing card! There are nearly a dozen routines with this gaff alone (which can just live in your normal deck).
With
DEQODE, ANY code can be scanned, and it will be the reveal of the routine you are performing! Whether you scan a code on the menu at the bar you are performing at, or one randomly generated on the participant's phone - the possibilities are limitless. In fact, it can even be used for funny gags outside of the magic or mentalism realm. Imagine freaking out your friend by scanning a QR code on their business card and showing them it mistakenly loads an X-rated website! It's a perfect utility for pranks.
