Combing transposition and prediction effects, providing an excellent framework to tie together your entire close-up routine. You might recognize Terry Chou from some of his popular creations on our website: Mini Roulette, The Frame, The Blade, Time Cube, and Fortune Calendar.
In our view, Terry consistently generates new ideas and magic each year, blending creativity with practicality-a result of his constant performances and the refinement of his concepts through those performances.
The Candle is no exception.
This multifunctional prop combines transposition and prediction effects, providing an excellent framework to tie together your entire close-up routine.
As demonstrated in the video, you can perform a coin routine, transform the coin into a card, and seamlessly transition into your playing card routine. The act culminates with the audience's focus returning to the candle, where you reveal the final prediction and the transposed coin, concluding the entire performance.
Beyond coins and playing cards, you can incorporate other elements to make your act unique. The coin could be replaced with a spectator's ring, earring, or another small object, and the prediction could involve ESP symbols, numbers, or letters.
The introduction of the candle adds an air of mystery and ritual to your performance, making your routine more intriguing and engaging.
